Antique Shelby Williams Victorian Captain’s Chair - Leather

An excellent conditioned antique Victorian captains chair / captains desk chair by Shelby Williams. It has a curved top rail supported by 6 splats set into a solid elm seat. There are also 2 metal strengthening bars supporting the arms which make the chair very solid along with supporting brackets to the underside. The turned legs are supported by an H-cross stretcher. The elm seat has a beautiful swirly wild grain to it. Leather is original. Dating from circa 1900.
